00:23 We wanted to sharpen the character of the front,
00:27 first of all, and we still wanted to keep
00:29 the single frame mask as the main character of the car.
00:34 And that single frame mask is now supported
00:36 by a very clean surfacing.
00:39 The car is now even more looking sporty
00:41 with the prominent expressive air intakes
00:43 we are having at the side, and especially the width
00:46 we are showing on the front end, and the sportivity.
00:50 On the rear end, it's a little bit like
00:55 we were doing it on the front end.
00:56 We have a lot cleaner design.

01:00 We are having a brand new diffuser,
01:01 which is surrounded by this very wide clasp
01:04 on top of the diffuser.
01:06 We are having fully working exhaust pipes,
01:08 and we are having a very sporty kind of looking
01:11 diffuser part in the middle,
01:13 which is inspired by our race cars.
01:15 - The Q8 is, to me, it's kind of a statement car.
01:21 The front of the car is the face of the car,
01:26 and when we design an Audi,
01:28 the headlights are always kind of the eyes.
01:31 We sharpened the character of the Q8
01:35 by putting the horizontal base
01:37 of the daytime running light a bit upwards,
01:40 just below the bonnet,
01:43 to make the car look as wide as possible.
01:45 We have these super sharp angles and surfaces,
01:53 kind of creating like an architecture of an X.
01:56 We have optional laser light in these headlights,
02:00 and for us, this X architecture is a symbol
02:03 for the precision and the power of the laser.
02:06 And you can see, we marked the top option here
02:08 with this little blue stripe.
02:10 You can see all these super sharp edges and surfaces,
02:16 super stretched.
02:17 They like cascade from one angle to another
02:22 through the whole rear, which makes it look fast,
02:25 even though the car is standing right now.

02:29 We have this super wide light band.
02:34 On top, we added our digital OLED elements,
02:37 which are there for individualization,
02:39 so the customer can choose from four graphics.
02:42 With this strong wing marking the end of the rear lamp,
02:51 this is this bold appearance we wanted to achieve
02:54 for the Audi Q8.
