Transcript
00:00 Today, we come together with heavy hearts to share the deeply saddening news of the
00:03 passing of a beloved Y and her actor, Billy Miller, known for his incredible talent and
00:08 memorable role as troubled Billy Abbott has left us.
00:11 While the cause of his passing has not been officially revealed, it has been reported that

00:33 Billy got his start in soaps playing Richie Novak on All My Children in 2007 before moving
00:38 on to Wow Young and Restless Fans as the spoiled Billy Abbott in 2008. Miller stayed in that role
00:43 until 2014, during which his version of the Abbott offspring fell in love with the enemy's daughter,
00:49 one fateful New Year's Eve. While at YNR, he snagged three daytime Emmys, two for Outstanding
00:54 Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and one for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
00:59 In 2014, Miller took over the role of Jason Morgan/Drew Cain from Steve Burton on ABC's
01:04 General Hospital and played the roles for five years. Colleagues and fans alike remember him
01:08 not only for his exceptional acting skills, but also for his kindness. His former scene partner,
01:14 Michael Money, took to Twitter to post a series of tweets, writing,
01:17 "Billy, my fellow Texas brother. You lit up every room with your smile. Your quiet intensity
01:22 on screen was second only to your gentle kindness and genuine care in private."

01:30 Billy's encouragements and kindness as warm memories. He went on to say that Billy was
01:34 "bigger, braver and bolder than life" and wished him a happy birthday. Billy was born on September
01:39 17, 1979 and would have turned 44 this year. Jason Thompson and Eric Braden also posted
01:46 condolences on Twitter. Braden recounted a night when he and Amelia Heinle took Billy to dinner,
01:51 when he was in middle of tough negotiations, telling him to reconsider.
01:55 "Billy boy was not only a damn good actor, but a nice man. May he rest in peace and meet up with
02:00 Christoph in the beyond," wrote Braden. "Our hearts go out to Billy's family, friends,
