It is expected that the construction of the 11 billion dollar international airport in Sangley Point, Cavite will start next year.

A world-class international airport that can accommodate 2,000 arrivals and departures per day

and a capacity of 130 million passengers for more than 200 destinations around the world.

That is the potential of the Sangley Point International Airport in Cavite.

According to Cavitex Holdings Local Partner GMRC Group of India,

they are just waiting for some clearance from the government before the construction starts.

This is what they see as the solution to the congestion issues in Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

That is why they will try to finish it within the next 5 years.

This year, the local government of Cavite and SPIA Consortium passed the development agreement for the 11 billion dollar project

including Cavitex Holdings and SPIA Consortium and other private companies.
