PH ‘excellent’ host – FIBA Sec Gen

FIBA secretary general Andreas Zagklis said Manila has been an 'excellent' host of the FIBA Basketball World Cup which ended on Sunday, September 10 at the Mall of Asia Arena.

The Philippines used three venues -- the Philippine Arena, Smart Araneta Coliseum, and the Mall of Asia Arena, where the final phase of the event was held.

Jakarta and Okinawa also co-hosted the group phase action of the World Cup.
