00:00 Hello and welcome to BQ Prime. We are at the Paytm counter where some of the newest devices

00:04 that have come out of the FinTech company have been put on display. And today we are

00:09 showing you the SoundPause which is now NFC enabled. So Sachin, if you can show me how

00:16 this works, essentially you as a merchant have to put in the amount that is being at

00:22 the merchants out. So why don't you show us that.

00:25 So in the merchant app, I'll have to click on accept new payments. Once I do that, I'll

00:31 have to enter an amount. I'll enter 11 for now. When I say collect, the amount shows

00:36 up over here. All right. Now you as a customer can take your card on the NFC device on this

00:42 logo and then the amount gets processed.

00:43 Okay, let's try that out. I have my debit card out, just NFC enabled. So let's try it.

00:49 You can take it out. Yeah. The card details are collected, the payment is getting processed.

00:57 The payment is done. All right, it's really that simple now. Does this accept anything

01:07 other than NFC enabled cards at this point in time? It also accepts tokenized cards.

01:12 So if you have NFC enabled cards stored on your Android phone, you can tap that as well.

01:17 And what is this device that right there? It looks very interesting.

01:20 So this is our regular soundbox in a much, much smaller size. We call it the pocket soundbox

01:25 because it can fit in someone's pocket. It's for merchants who are on the move, like rickshaw

01:31 walas, phugge wala, pani puri wala. Now they'll have a way of payment confirmation by just

01:37 listening to the audio from this.

01:38 That's interesting. So basically you're targeting some of the bigger merchants with that and

01:43 the roadside sort of hawker merchants with this kind of a pocket device. That's very

01:48 interesting. So that's what you have from the Paytm booth at the Global FinTech Fest.
