  • 7 mesi fa
Lone self titled album for the Italian-American psych rock band Velvet Night from White Plains, New York. It was recorded in 1969, when psych rock was growing adult. The album was formed of a mixture of covers of songs by Cream, Donovan Tim Hardin and the Band, involved into spooky, dark, eerie, doom-laden sounds, with fuzzy guitar riffs, sweeping Hammond organ, tribal percussions and very good vocals especially by the front woman Lynn Boccumini.

Lynn Boccumini - vocals.
Tony Faranda - guitars.
Vinnie Nisi - keyboards, vocals.
Peter Fuino - saxophones, flute, vocals.
Frank Chiaro - bass.
Doug Catuogno - drums, percussion.
