00:07 Today reports Joe filed a petition for divorce on Tuesday, September 5, stating the marriage
00:12 between the parties is "irretrievably broken."
00:16 Joe and Sophie have two children together, welcoming their daughter Willa in 2020 and
00:21 their second daughter in July 2022.
00:24 According to the petition, custody of the children will be shared.
00:28 E! News says the petition stipulates a "time-sharing schedule, providing for frequent and continuing
00:33 contact with both parties and child support obligations from each party."
00:38 The couple has since released a joint statement saying the decision to divorce is "amicable"
00:43 and asks for privacy at this time.
00:46 Reports of the couple's split began circulating on Sunday, September 3, where a source told
00:50 TMZ the couple were having "serious problems" for at least six months.
