00:10 have heart surgery. The procedure was to be minimally invasive so as to not

00:14 unnecessarily burden the Hollywood star. But the doctors made a serious mistake.

00:24 To save the actor's life he then had to undergo open-heart surgery. "I almost

00:30 died," Arnold said in a video. But he wouldn't be the Terminator if he hadn't

00:35 bravely fought his way back to life. "You can't turn back time," he said. With the

00:42 filming of Terminator Dark Fate fast approaching, the star picked himself up

00:45 and worked out every day in the hospital to get back on his feet. In a video

00:52 message Arnold Schwarzenegger shared a clip showing him walking through the

00:55 hospital in a surgical gown and leaning on an oxygen tank cart. "I look like an

01:01 idiot waddling around in the hallways," he confessed. Three months before shooting

01:07 Terminator Dark Fate, Schwarzenegger was fit again according to his famous motto
