Franco-Prussian War Revolver Restoration (found underwater)

Restoration of an 1860 ( Napoleon III era ) Lefaucheux revolver. We found this gun while magnet fishing in the South of France.

Judging by its condition, it has been in the water for decades.
The gun was damaged but we decided to preserve it by removing the rust, making it functional, and protecting the metal for a display.
