Foxconn's Terry Gou Officially Launches Bid for Taiwan President

Terry Gou, the billionaire founder of manufacturing giant Foxconn, has ended months of speculation by officially throwing his hat into the ring to be Taiwan's next president. Gou said he intends to run as an independent who can unite the country's opposition forces. He needs to collect 290,000 signatures to register as a candidate.
