In 2023, the Model X will receive a new key card, but if you prefer the vintage car-shaped fob, you may add it as an option. In addition, a standard steering wheel comes back as a free option (existing owners can optionally have a $700 retrofit). Additionally, Tesla has re-released a Standard Range model with a 269-mile driving range and a lower starting price. The Model X remains unchanged for the rest of the year.
The Plaid model's three electric motors will undoubtedly produce amazing acceleration, but its speed comes at a hefty price. We'd save the money because its 333-mile estimated driving range is inferior than that of the less costly Long Range variant. The Long Range Model X is still incredibly speedy and has an estimated driving range of up to 348 miles.
