About This Video:
Pharaoh was the king of Egypt. He was a very cruel person. He used to get people to work for free and considered himself to be God. He worshiped his subjects and killed those who refused to obey him. When Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) was born, his mother locked her child in a box and left it in the river for fear that Pharaoh would kill the child. Because someone told Pharaoh that a child will be born in your nation who will kill you. Therefore, he ordered that the unborn child be killed. When Hazrat Musa (peace be upon him) was bathed in the river by his mother, the boat stopped near Pharaoh's palace.
Pharaoh's wife took out the box and opened it, and there was a beautiful child in it that she loved very much. She took him to Pharaoh and said she wanted to raise him. Pharaoh forbade but he disobeyed. Finally, Hazrat Musa was brought up in Pharaoh's house. When he was young, Pharaoh said, "Prostrate to me," but Hazrat Musa did not listen to him, so Pharaoh kicked him out of the house. Revelation was revealed to Hazrat Musa in the form of a mountain and he came to Pharaoh with the message of Allah, but Pharaoh did not accept it. He called the magicians and presented Moses to them. The magicians placed their sticks on the ground and they became snakes. Then Moses placed his staff on the ground and it became a huge snake and swallowed all the snakes of the magicians.
From this incident, many people accepted Moses as God, many people started questioning Pharaoh. Pharaoh was very angry and went out with an army to kill Moses and his companions. Musa (peace be upon him) went to the Nile River with his companions. When Pharaoh's army approached them, Moses threw his staff into the river and a path was made in the river. Moses and his companions quickly crossed the river by this route, while Pharaoh's army also went by the same route. And Pharaoh drowned with his army.
