Hope Persuaded to End Her Romance With Thomas, but Is That Fair to Hope The Bold

00:02 Hope is being persuaded to end things with Thomas.

00:18 to end things with Thomas.

00:20 Brooke mentioned to Ridge that Beth,

00:22 Hope and Liam's daughter, is a miracle.

00:24 And Brooke said maybe Beth can make another miracle happen,

00:27 meaning maybe through their daughter, Hope and Liam,

00:29 they'll decide to stay together

00:30 and not file those divorce papers.

00:33 But Brooke knows Liam loves Steffi.

00:35 Ridge told her.

00:37 So why would Brooke want her daughter, Hope,

00:39 to be with a man who is in love with another woman?

00:42 Meanwhile, Liam is putting a massive guilt trip on Hope.

00:45 Liam wants Hope to recognize what Thomas did to them,

00:48 keeping the truth about Beth being alive away from them.

00:52 Liam even said, "I'm trying to get you to see

00:54 "how far away from Hope Logan you are."

00:57 But what does that imply?

00:59 Is Hope supposed to act and behave in a certain way?

01:04 she doesn't know who she is anymore.

01:06 And Liam asked Hope if she's lost her mind.

01:20 Liam tells Hope seeing her kiss Thomas in Rome was a shock.

01:24 But what Liam doesn't know is that Hope and Thomas

01:27 shared a night of intimacy back when they arrived in LA.

01:30 Brooke caught them.

01:31 And what Hope doesn't know is that Liam

01:33 has kissed Steffi twice,

01:35 and then the other night tried again.

01:37 But Steffi told him he should leave.

01:39 Liam also confessed his love to Steffi,

01:41 saying he's in love with her and always will be.

01:45 Liam tells Hope he thinks she's lost herself,

01:48 and to let him help her find her way back.

01:51 But what does Liam want?

01:52 Does he want to reunite with Hope,

01:54 or does he just want her to stay away from Thomas

01:57 while Liam secretly pursues Steffi?

01:59 Liam's power of influence will work, though,

02:02 because Hope will end things soon with Thomas.

02:05 And Steffi asked Thomas what his plans are with Hope

02:08 and if he'll be waiting for her when the marriage is over.

02:11 So it seems Steffi doesn't want Thomas

02:13 to be with Hope either.

02:14 It seems like nobody wants Hope and Thomas to be together.

02:18 And it's gotta be more than just what Thomas did with Beth.

02:21 Steffi is worried about Thomas's past obsession with Hope,

02:24 and so maybe she's just looking out for him.

02:27 Liam arrived later and told Steffi

02:29 that maybe he got through to Hope.

02:31 So what does all this mean?

02:32 Does Liam want to go back to Hope?

02:34 Liam's language now with Steffi, too, has changed.

02:37 He's not focusing on telling her he loves her.

02:40 Is it because Steffi told him to leave the other night?

02:43 It looks like Steffi will also encourage Liam

02:45 to go back to Hope.

02:47 RJ, too, will tell Thomas to back off Hope.

02:50 Ridge, too, is asking Thomas about Hope

02:52 and saying it's not just the kiss in Rome.

02:55 What's going on with the two of you?

02:57 So the forces against Hope and Thomas

02:59 are many, maybe too much to overcome,

03:02 like star-crossed lovers.

03:04 Seems like their relationship could be doomed.

03:07 But back with Hope and Brooke, Hope

03:08 brings up when Liam saw her kiss Thomas in Rome,

03:11 and Brooke says, thankfully, that's all he knows about.

03:14 Brooke is referring to Hope and Thomas having slept together.

03:17 Plenty of secrets are still being kept.

03:19 Hope and Thomas' night of passion,

03:21 Liam's kisses with Steffi.

03:23 Plenty of opportunity for secrets to be revealed,

03:26 maybe through characters overhearing conversations.

03:29 We'll have to see.

03:31 But Hope says she thinks the problem is she

03:33 thinks maybe she doesn't know who she is anymore.

03:36 Brooke took that as a good sign that Hope

03:38 is coming back to herself.

03:39 And Brooke urged Hope to fight for her family,

03:42 that it's not too late.

03:43 It's never too late.

03:46 Brooke seems to be getting what she wants, and Liam, too.

03:49 But what about Hope and Thomas?

03:52 We could be looking at a reunion now for Hope and Liam,

03:55 or Hope could stay single for now.

03:56 We'll have to see what direction this goes in.

03:59 But if Hope and Liam do reunite, there

04:01 could be more surprises later if Hope becomes pregnant.

04:04 The stage could be set for a possible paternity mystery.

04:08 But for now, Hope will be persuaded

04:09 to end things with Thomas and not divorce Liam.
