A video shows the clingy monkey climbing onto the woman and wrapping its arms and legs around her chest.
It grabs onto her shirt as the woman spins around in an attempt to rid herself of the animal.
The animal continues to use all of its limbs and its tail to hold on but eventually she manages to drop it.
The incident happened in Cancun, Mexico in July 2022.
