00:24 Under their leadership, President Ferdinand R. Marquez, Jr., the Job Sector Group of the Private Sector Advisory Council
00:31 laid out their recommendations to attract more job opportunities for Filipinos.
00:38 This includes the roadmap for the transformation of the country as a global leader in the digital domain.
00:44 This includes the opening of 1 million jobs in information technology and business process management
00:51 until 2028, or a total of 2.5 million employment opportunities.
00:56 Aside from direct jobs, these steps could attract more than 6 million indirect jobs in various industries
01:04 such as food, logistics, real estate, retail, and transportation.
01:10 According to PISAC, the 169 billion pesos of personal income tax is expected to be the contribution
01:16 of their roadmap to the country's economy every year.
01:20 Aside from the growth of gross domestic product, which is up to 8.9%,
01:24 the Council also agreed to raise the 4 billion pesos scholarship fund for the training of half a million individuals
01:32 in information technology every year.
01:34 Also, the assistance of DepEd, CHED, and ESDA to strengthen the enterprise-based training programs.
01:42 They can achieve this with the help of the Office of the Presidential Assistant on Investment and Economic Affairs
01:49 and the Private Sector Jobs and Skills Corporation.
01:52 This includes the recommendation to give 60 to more than 600 hours of internship to senior high schools.
