00:03 Emirates Islamic is warning that scammers are now using fake food offers to con you.
00:09 First, they'll post fake offers online that look way too good to be true.
00:14 Once you click on it, they'll ask you for your personal and financial details.
00:19 They'll send you an OTP under a fake name, showing a different amount.
00:23 If you give them this OTP, they'll have access to all your banking info,
00:27 letting them make all sorts of fraudulent transactions with your name and your money.
00:32 If you're maybe interested in keeping your money and not giving it to a random scammer,
00:37 be cautious of offers you didn't ask for.
00:40 Only trust online offers if they're listed on a restaurant's official website.
00:45 If their email is orderfood@thisistotallyreal.com, they're probably a scammer.
00:51 Do yourself a favor and don't give them your sensitive info.
00:54 Also, if you get an OTP text, always double-check the purchase amount and merchant name
