00:11 Father Jolito is blessed to be able to consider the "Walang Gutom 2027" food stamp program of DSWD.
00:20 He said that before the program was launched,
00:24 they only eat once a day, but now, they can eat three meals a day.
00:31 Father Jolito's income is only P250 for his waste collection and he is giving it to ten members of his family.
00:40 It's good for the project that our President did for us.
00:45 For all the things that happened to us, to our poor,
00:52 the President did a great help and DSWD did a great help.

01:06 The food stamp is a big thing for our family.
01:09 The food stamp, of course, is for the children to eat what they want.
01:18 Earlier, 50 beneficiaries of the program from Tondo, Manila, gathered again.
01:24 They are among the 3,000 beneficiaries of the pilot run of the program from Cagayan Valley, NCR, Bicol, Caraga, and BARMM.
01:35 Our first distribution was successful last month.
01:39 Our kickoff here in Tondo and this is the continuation of that.
01:44 The same 50 beneficiaries that were covered by our pilot implementation,
01:48 now, you can see that it is included in our Nutrition Education Program,
01:53 which is a crucial component of the food stamp program because we will teach them how to cook delicious, cheap, and nutritious food.
02:03 The electronic benefits transfer or ABC card that can be used to buy nutritious food,
02:10 the beneficiaries immediately gathered to avoid scams or fraud.
02:15 The owner of the card also asked for a fingerprint.
02:18 Only two people can register for a fingerprint.
02:21 In the food stamp credit, the budget for the three types of food was immediately divided.
02:26 P1,500 was allocated for rice, corn, and bread.
02:31 P900 for meat such as fish, chicken, and pork.
02:37 And P600 for vegetables and fruits.
02:40 The monthly allowance from the food stamp program for the pilot implementation will last for six months.
02:47 The DSWD will have an assessment after this.
02:51 We're expecting a scale-up of our pilot implementation by October.
02:58 It's already P3,000. P3,000 for all of our pilot sites.
03:03 At the end of this month, we are actually setting another kick-off in Caragan, in Siargao.
03:12 We will have a kick-off there, another set of 50 beneficiaries.
03:16 The target of the DSWD's food stamp program is to help a million poor families.
03:23 Among them, the poor families earn P8,000 or less, the beneficiaries, and some members of the four-piece.
03:32 President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian have already promised
03:38 that the program will continue, especially as the Asian Development Bank and World Food Program is ready to help fund it.
