Female, single male govt employees to get 730 days child care leave: Centre

On August 9, 2023, Union Minister of State for Personnel Jitendra Singh informed the Lok Sabha that female and single male government employees are eligible for 730 days of child care leave (CCL). This leave can be availed for taking care of two eldest surviving children up to the age of 18 years, and there is no age limit in case of a differently-abled child.
