00:00 Six members of the CPP-NPA were arrested in a separate operation in Rizal and Oriental Mindoro.

00:07 Marisol Abduraman is a witness.

00:09 The CIDG and AFBs in Oriental Mindoro and Rizal,

00:18 joined forces to attack these houses.

00:22 The operation was targeted by some top officials of the CPP-NPA who have a gun to their head.

00:29 This operation is a product of a two-month long surveillance against the arrested suspects.

00:36 The four arrested, Eric Baltazar and Valentin Tolentino, are top officials of the CPP-NPA

00:44 and they are holding the money that the CPP-NPA is getting from their extortion activity.

00:50 And they are the ones also dispersing this to the different regions in the country.

00:57 All activities of the CPP-NPA, including our rallies here in Metro Manila,

01:04 they are the ones giving the finance resources.

01:10 According to the CIDG, the operation was not easy to get the target personalities

01:15 because aside from moving them to different locations, there are also people who are watching them.

01:21 They were able to get the high caliber guns, explosives, documents and other items,

01:28 including thousands of pesos.

01:31 Tolentino admitted that they are members of the CPP-NPA.

01:34 If there is a connection, of course, it will be high class.

01:39 And if the budget approved by the leader, we will fulfill it.

01:47 They denied that they have guns.

01:49 One of their colleagues said that they have been wanting to leave for a long time.
