Precious Surrey heathland to be 'reconnected' as part of government-backed £7.4 million nature recovery project

Frensham, Thursley and Hankley commons are to benefit from a new £7.4 million government-based nature recovery project. The Surrey project will create new wildlife corridors between the commons and improve bus, walking and cycling links to reduce car use.
