The final Ashes Test Match of the summer is upon us. The Oval will play host as England look to draw the series, whilst Australia look to win it.
Transcript
00:00 A summer of test match cricket is drawing to a conclusion as we reach the final match
00:04 of the Ashes. Following the weather affected draw at Old Trafford, the series remains at
00:09 2-1 to the visitors. Australia could therefore become the first team from their nation to
00:15 win an Ashes series in England since 2001. For England, despite not being able to win
00:21 the Ashes, they have the opportunity to draw the series level and keep their good form
00:26 under Ben Stokes and Brendan McCullum going. Their hopes of winning the series were washed
00:32 out by the rain in Manchester but they will not want to lose the series. They batted and
00:38 bowled well in the fourth test and will be hoping to continue that in London whereas
00:43 Australia need a much improved performance. Regardless, it has been a summer of immense
00:49 cricket that has gripped two nations with the only shame being that it is coming to
00:54 a conclusion very soon.
