China Drills Earth: ಅನಿಲಕ್ಕಾಗಿ 10,000 ಅಡಿ ಆಳ! ಪಾತಾಳ ಲೋಕದತ್ತ ಚೀನಾ ಚಿತ್ತ!

ಚೀನಾದ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್‌ ಪೆಟ್ರೋಲಿಯಂ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಷನ್‌ (CNPC). ಶೆಂಡೊ ಚುವಾಂಕೆ- 1 ಎಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿನ ಈ ಬಾವಿಯನ್ನು ಅದು ಕೊರೆಯಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರ ಅಂದಾಜು ಆಳ 10,520 ಮೀಟರ್‌ ಅಥವಾ 6.5 ಮೈಲು. ಈ ಮೊದಲು ಕ್ಷಿನ್‌ಜಿಯಾಂಗ್‌ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರೆದಿದ್ದ ಇಷ್ಟೇ ಆಳದ ಬಾವಿ ಕೊರೆಯುವ ಸಾಧನಗಳ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ಹೊಂದಿತ್ತು. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಸಿಚುಯಾನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊರೆಯಲಾಗುವ ಈ ಬಾವಿಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶ ನೈಸರ್ಗಿಕ ಅನಿಲದ ಶೋಧ.China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). It is planning to drill this well named Shendo Chuanke-1. Its approximate depth is 10,520 meters or 6.5 miles. A similar depth well previously drilled in Xinjiang province had the practical purpose of testing the strength of the drilling equipment. Currently being drilled in Sichuan, the purpose of this well is to explore for natural gas.
