The model year change also brings with it the Black Skin Pack.

Ford is giving the Bronco Sport a retro twist to the 2024 model year by reviving a looks package first introduced in the late 1970s. It wasn't just the classic Bronco that got the Free Wheeling treatment, as the F-100, F-150, Econoline, and Courier have optional color decals. Fast-forwarding decades later, the boxy compact crossover reinvigorates the exclusive look of red, orange and yellow gradients.

In keeping with the original Free Wheeling models from months ago, this 2024 Bronco Sport with vintage flair also has reflective graphics on the hood and trunk lid. Additionally, the 17-inch wheels feature red accents, while the front grille is silver. Additional visual tweaks include black mirrors, bumpers and roof, as well as red and orange pinstripes on the instrument cluster and seats.

Blue Oval mentions that the Bronco Sport Free Wheeling is a limited edition special edition based on the Badlands. With a starting price of $33,730 (plus a destination fee of $1,595), it claims a $2,500 premium over the base trim. The configurator is already up and running on Ford's website, which shows individual options alongside seven body colors and numerous packages. You can only have it with the 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine, eight-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

If you prefer something quieter, the 2024 Bronco Sport also gets the Black Appearance Package with carbon black grille, matte black 17-inch wheels and dark roof. The Ford badge is finished in smoked chrome and the hood has matte black graphics . Inside, the airbag cover features a black Bronco badge.

The Black Look is available for an additional $1,750 for Big Bend gear only and cannot be combined with the Black Diamond Off-Road Pack or Shadow Black paint.

Speaking of colours, 2024MY brings Azure Gray and Desert Sand, but you can't get them in the Free Wheeling or Heritage variants. Ford is already accepting orders for the slightly revised Bronco Sport lineup.
