00:00 I'm really excited to be here.

00:02 Of course, excited to be back in the US for preseason,

00:05 show them around my country a little bit.

00:08 It's definitely been kind of a whirlwind of a week for me,

00:11 coming into a new country, new club.

00:13 It's been a bit crazy, but I'm enjoying every second of it.

00:17 It's been great to have a fresh start,

00:19 and I'm really thrilled to be a part of this team.

00:22 Yeah, coming to Italy, of course, a new culture,

00:26 a new style, a new league, and I'm learning a lot.

00:28 Of course, I'm also trying to learn the language, which

00:31 will take some time, but my Spanish

00:34 will help a little bit, I think.

00:35 And yeah, I'm enjoying the transition.

00:39 I never imagined I would have come this far

00:42 when I was a younger kid, to imagine

00:44 that I'd be signing for a massive club like Milan.

00:49 It's truly an honor for me.

00:51 I never could have believed it.

00:52 So to be here, playing at Chelsea,

00:54 and now coming to AC Milan, and yeah,

00:58 getting to play at the highest level,

01:00 now in Serie A Champions League, it's really--

01:04 it's special for me.

01:05 And I try not to take it for granted.

01:07 And it's going to be, yeah, hopefully, a really exciting

01:12 and even better next four or five years.

01:15 For sure, the conversations that I

01:16 had with the club, with the manager,

01:19 speaking to me and specifically about my role

01:20 and how they see me fitting in with this club

01:23 was a big reason.

01:25 Of course, seeing guys like Fikayo Tamori, Olivier Giroud,

01:30 also Ruben Loftus-Chic also coming here,

01:33 quite closer with some of those guys,

01:35 definitely helps with the transition into the club.

01:38 It helps knowing having some faces that you recognize.

01:41 That absolutely was a help as well.

01:43 And yeah, all in all, it just felt like the right decision

01:46 the right time.

01:48 I'm a very competitive guy, whether it's

01:49 a training session or a game or just a game off the pitch.

01:54 I'm very competitive.

01:55 And I like to--

01:57 yeah, I'm very passionate about this game.

01:59 And yeah, that's definitely what I'm going to bring.

02:02 I'm going to bring--

02:03 may not be the most outgoing guy off the pitch.

02:06 But when I'm on the pitch, I like

02:08 to really try to express myself and bring something

02:10 different to the team.

02:11 I think we have big ambitions this year.

02:13 I think we have a really strong team, very high level.

02:17 And we want to go and compete for the trophies that we can.
