00:14 It's bad timing for the event because I think a lot of fans come to Comic-Con hoping to see the big Hollywood professionals, the big talent.

00:21 The good news is all of these badges have been sold out for months.

00:24 So everybody that's coming to Comic-Con is at Comic-Con.

00:42 Look at all the different incarnations of Stan.

00:45 This was his Frank Sinatra look from the '60s.

00:48 Oh my God, look at him in the '70s.

00:51 This is Joe Simon, the co-creator of Captain America.

00:54 He was Stan's first boss when Stan was 18 years old and then gave young Stan Lee the chance to write his first comic book.

01:05 From Captain America #3 in 1941, this is the first story that has the name Stan Lee on it.

01:23 But he was 20 years ahead of his time because Stan believed that you had to look to the future.

01:28 And his future was a world of diversity and acceptance.

01:32 So you have Aquaman, who was Hispanic, as was Wonder Woman.

01:37 Batman is black.

01:39 This is the world that Stan Lee created.
