(Adnkronos) - 25 dipendenti selezionati per le loro passioni, è “Dress Your Story” il progetto di fashion design di Amazon che coinvolge gli studenti dello IED di Roma e la PMI toscana del tessile Dalle Piane Cashmere. Intervistata a margine della presentazione dei bozzetti, Federica La Placa, Amazon Senior Brand Specialist nel settore Beauty ne è sicura “vestirò la mia storia”, un’affermazione che suscita il commento di Leonardo Fizialetti, studente IED Roma e autore del bozzetto: “sono molto soddisfatto del mio lavoro”.

00:00 What was the first thing that came to your mind?

00:04 The first thing that came to my mind was curiosity,

00:08 curiosity to know what a person who didn't know me at all could do for me.

00:15 And in fact, meeting Leonardo today was really the result of that curiosity.

00:21 And today you see the sketch in front of me and I can only say that it reflects me a lot,

00:26 so I absolutely know that I will wear my story.

00:30 Being able to work in an environment where you feel appreciated,

00:35 where you feel listened to, regardless of your background,

00:40 regardless of whatever can characterize you as a person,

00:44 is really priceless, something that is difficult to find in the working world today.

00:51 So this is the epitome of what Amazon has represented for me in the last three years.

00:59 Transporting a fashion personality, in a dress, in a clothing line,

01:05 has certainly been difficult.

01:08 But once I got in tune with Federica, with her story,

01:13 everything went down, let's say.

01:16 It was fun and different from what we usually do.

01:24 Federica's story, one of the parts that intrigued me the most,

01:28 is her relationship with water, precisely.

01:31 And that she wanted, as a first thing, to represent at the level of cuts and volumes,

01:38 as if she were a typical boss of the sportsmen, of those who practice water sports in the winter season,

01:48 who go to cover themselves with a high neck and very heavy shirts.

01:55 And then I wanted to represent the effect that water has on the pools' bricks,

02:01 through this distorted pattern.

02:03 To give a face and a body to the story that I have studied for all this time,

02:12 it was beautiful.

02:15 And even talking to her I was satisfied with the work I did,

02:21 because I think I have focused.
