03:39At the end of the day, mama is Alana's mama.
03:43But for the last two years, I have had to step place into that role,
03:47so I'm not just gonna let mama squeeze her way back to motherhood.
03:50That's not gonna fly with me.
03:52I will always be y'all's mama, and don't ever forget that.
03:55And I haven't.
04:09Give him a kid. See?
04:12Fire cake will give you a kid.
04:14You ready to eat?
04:15Hey, Alana, I bet you 20 bucks I can kick your butt in foosball.
04:18Kick my butt.
04:19Yes, ma'am.
04:20You wish you could kick my butt in foosball.
04:23Give me a second. You're gonna have to give me a second first.
04:26Oh, no! Oh, no!
04:28Uh-uh, uh-uh, that ain't fair.
04:30Now... Mom!
04:32I just got a point.
04:33That's not fair! I was trying to eat my waffle.
04:35Look, that's the point right there.
04:37Where did my waffle go?
04:44Ha!
04:46Gene.
04:47I'm not gonna...
04:48Okay, let me show you.
04:49Not that much butter!
04:51Just a little bit.
04:53I'm just so glad to have y'all back in our life.
04:56You know, like, I feel like we've came a long way,
04:58and, like, we can continue to stay on the path.
05:02Like, it's just a give-and-take kind of situation.
05:05Yeah.
05:06I do see that Mama and Geno are doing better,
05:09but I can't just easily get over the past
05:13and all the things they've done to hurt us.
05:15But for Alana, I'm a little worried
05:17because she's not on the same page that I am at all.
05:22I just want to ask you something, too.
05:24If, um...
05:24if you're willing to or whatever...
05:28Yeah.
05:29I'd like to invite you out to dinner,
05:31maybe just you and I.
05:33It seems like Alana's starting to come around a little bit.
05:35I really want this to be about rebuilding our relationship.
05:37If that's something you're up for, though.
05:39I mean, yeah.
05:41Yeah, I don't think Mama would mind a pumpkin in them.
05:44All right, cool.
05:45Maybe next time, I mean, maybe we can come see y'all,
05:48and then the next time y'all come see us.
05:50Tomorrow, I really want to take y'all to Banyan
05:52because there's a lot of stuff that, like,
05:54I hope that y'all can be able to see.
05:56Right.
05:57I'm really excited to be able to take the girls into Banyan,
06:00the place that saved my life.
06:02I mean, I want to show them all the good things
06:04that Banyan has done for me,
06:05and they wanted me to do this testimonial,
06:07so I said, yes, I would be honored to.
06:11Mama!
06:13She's taking me out to dinner tonight.
06:17If it's... if it's okay with you...
06:19That's okay.
06:21Oh, that is so sweet of you.
06:23Where are you going?
06:24Cow cheese.
06:24What?!
06:26Yes.
06:26We haven't wanted to go to that restaurant
06:28since we got out of re...
06:30Are you going to take Alana?
06:32Whatever, dude.
06:49Whatcha in here doing, working on your resume?
06:52Nope, finding you an apartment.
06:55No, you're not working on your resume
06:56because you can't tell your wife that you don't have a job.
07:00Or their heads living in the backyard.
07:02Right.
07:03So how about off, okay?
07:05Because I'll tell Pumpkin on my own time.
07:08You gonna tell her?
07:09Sure am not.
07:12Better tell her.
07:13Hey, honey.
07:14Hi, baby.
07:15I was just calling you because I was just going to give you updates about what's going on here at Mama's.
07:20Oh, boy.
07:21Things have been kind of iffy here.
07:23Like, I don't want Alana to get her feelings hurt again, you know?
07:26Yep.
07:26I also think she's caught up in the moment.
07:28You know, it's all fun, fun, fun.
07:30Because they have a pool here.
07:31They have all the snacks.
07:33They have everything that fits Alana's desired need.
07:36This is ridiculous.
07:38June has let Alana down the floor.
07:39And now she's down there filling Alana's head full of these dreams.
07:42So I'm going to have to remind June that me and Pumpkin have custody.
07:46So Alana's our child.
07:47How about just remind Alana that, you know, when your mother and Gina go to jail,
07:50all that goes with them.
07:51Well, Mama just told us that she's got a new lawyer that's supposedly
07:56going to get her off.
07:57So she won't do any jail time.
07:58Well, do you believe her?
08:00I don't know.
08:02Well, honey, jail or no jail?
08:03If I have to drop down there and get her ass, I will.
08:05No, everything's fine.
08:07We'll be home in a couple of days.
08:08It's okay.
08:08How's work?
08:10Oh, work?
08:12Yeah.
08:13I mean, it's great.
08:14The line's like .
08:16All right, honey.
08:19I love you.
08:20Love you.
08:20I miss you.
08:21I can't wait to see you.
08:22Bye-bye.
08:23Bye.
08:23You still couldn't tell her?
08:26How about keep your trap shut if you like?
08:28living on that couch in there.
08:37So you hungry?
08:38Yeah, I'm real hungry.
08:39Yeah, me too.
08:46Hi, how we doing?
08:47Good, how's it going?
08:48Good.
08:48Can I start you both off with something to drink other than water?
08:51Can I do a tea?
08:52Yeah, sweetie.
08:53Actually, I know what I want if you know what you are.
08:55Yeah, I know what I want, too.
08:56I'm going to do the St. Fritz.
08:57Okay.
08:58And I'll get a creme brulee for dessert.
09:00And what would you like?
09:01Can I do the steak feet?
09:03Yeah.
09:04Did you want to add any other sides with that?
09:06Uh, can I do the lobster mac and cheese?
09:08Yes.
09:08And then can I also do, um, like a chocolate cake?
09:11All right.
09:12Thank you, ma'am.
09:13Thank you.
09:13Appreciate it.
09:14Thank you.
09:20What do you think about Florida?
09:21Um, it's okay.
09:23I like it here.
09:24I think it's so pretty here.
09:25It's a nice view out here.
09:26Yeah, I love the beach.
09:29I do think Gino is really trying.
09:31And I do really want to be, like, cool with Gino again.
09:35But I can't just forget everything that happened.
09:39Damn, the foods are already.
09:40That is going to be good.
09:44Yeah, it looks good.
09:47Thank you.
09:47I bet your mom and them aren't eating this good, huh?
09:49Is it good?
09:57Well, look, we don't have to talk about anything
09:59that you don't want to or whatever.
10:01But I can tell, you know, like, when you come up to the door,
10:03I can just see it in your face.
10:04It's kind of like, damn, there's Gino.
10:07That's what I don't want, you know?
10:08I want things to get back like they were before, you know?
10:11I mean, it was just a little weird for me at first,
10:12because, like, I feel like we haven't seen y'all in, like, a year.
10:15So it was just, like, all the memories of, like, all we had
10:20and stuff like that, they were just all coming back.
10:24Like, you know, because, like, you and Mama, y'all hurt me a lot.
10:30You know, I do realize that we did a lot of damage, not just we,
10:34but, you know, me.
10:35I can make excuses and say, you know, addiction this, addiction that,
10:38or whatever, but, you know, it's unacceptable and I'm sorry.
10:43I know it's been difficult for you.
10:44Yeah, it was really hard.
10:46Like, at one point, we had to even move.
10:50We stayed in the hotel for a while,
10:52because Mama had some people that y'all didn't give money back to.
10:59It was crazy, though, for sure.
11:02It sucks to hear how bad I have hurt her, but recovery's not easy,
11:06and hopefully, uh, this is the beginning of us mending our relationship.
11:10I hope you can forgive me, you know, because I do want to be in your life.
11:14And I do love you.
11:20I feel like it's getting back better.
11:22And we're all working on things and stuff, so.
11:26I'm really glad you guys came.
11:27I'm really glad we came, too.
11:29I really like it here.
11:30Well, you guys can come back anytime you want,
11:32or hell, you can actually stay longer.
11:34I don't know if they'll let you.
11:35Stay longer?
11:36Not only would it make me real happy,
11:38but, like, I haven't seen your mom this happy in a long time, dude.
11:41But how am I supposed to get home if Pumpkin goes home?
11:45We can just book you a flight back home.
11:48Is that something you'd be interested in, or?
11:50I mean, I have to talk to Pumpkin.
11:53Coming up on Mama June Road to Redemption.
11:58Everything that you do has a ripple effect.
12:01People do change.
12:03I want to be the best mom I can be.
12:06I'm really hoping Pumpkin will let me stay.
12:08Did you meet y'all talking about this?
12:09Alana, what are you doing?
12:11I'm not going home.
12:13I am going to kill my mother.
12:23I'm going to eat dessert before your regular food.
12:29More red velvet.
12:31You're going to gain all your weight back.
12:34Oh, I think this is yours.
12:35Sally, Sally.
12:36Yeah.
12:37What are you now, a rabbit?
12:39No, I'm just being a better example for Alana.
12:41You think she's eating a salad at the restaurant?
12:43Probably not.
12:45I mean, I really don't even have an appetite,
12:47because I am a little nervous.
12:49Gino has hurt Alana, and I don't want that
12:51to be the situation again.
12:53Look, just give him the benefit of the doubt.
12:55He has really been trying.
12:57I mean, it's nice here.
12:58Look at it.
12:59We got the pool, the beach.
13:00Yeah, all this stuff is nice, but it's not yours.
13:03I mean, this is just a vacation.
13:05Like, I'm talking about in real life.
13:06You know what I'm saying?
13:07Like, you still have a court date.
13:09You still have legal issues that y'all have to work through.
13:12I just don't want to learn thinking,
13:13like, it's going to be all fine and dandy.
13:15I don't understand that.
13:17I mean, the attorney thinks he can, like,
13:19actually, like, get me off of things.
13:21There's still that what if.
13:23Everything that you do has a ripple effect.
13:26And I know that.
13:27You do something, and then boom.
13:28It hits me, it hits Alana, it hits Ella,
13:31it hits Josh, it's Jessica, Dodo, Amber.
13:33And that's true, but it's not going to be a problem.
13:36I know for a fact that I won't do jail time.
13:40You know what I'm saying?
13:41Whatever happens with Mama, it's like,
13:43I'm not going to stress myself out anymore.
13:46And if she's not stressing about going to jail,
13:48then I'm not going to stress it either.
13:49I don't want y'all to worry about that part.
13:52Y'all must be having fun.
13:57Yeah.
13:58What are y'all doing?
13:58Dinner, having a nice dinner while Punkin eats her rabbit food.
14:01So did you eat your salad at the restaurant?
14:04Nope.
14:05I had lobster mac and cheese,
14:06and I had steak and some fries.
14:10We're good.
14:11They're good.
14:12That's what I had as well.
14:12That doesn't sound healthy.
14:13I'm going to go check on Ella,
14:16make sure she's still sleeping.
14:18Y'all better borrow us back something to eat.
14:20We didn't have nothing of what's left.
14:23So what did y'all talk about at dinner room?
14:26One thing we did talk about, and she's cool with it,
14:28I asked her if she wanted to stay extra days.
14:30Gina said he'd give me a flight home and everything.
14:32Whoa.
14:34Yep.
14:35Did you meet y'all with Punkin about this?
14:36No, I got it.
14:37I want to talk to her.
14:38You going to ask her tonight or?
14:41I'll ask her tomorrow.
14:42Well, let me know how that goes.
14:44I mean, tomorrow I want to take y'all to Banyan
14:46because they're doing my testimonial.
14:48Oh, cool.
14:49I really want Alana to stay a little bit longer with me and Gino.
14:54So I want to take the girls to Banyan
14:56and put Punkin's mind at ease.
14:58Thank you for dinner, Gino.
15:00You're welcome, baby.
15:01Thank you for going with me.
15:02You're welcome.
15:02Here we are, y'all.
15:16This is Banyan, and this is the place that saved me and Gino's life.
15:21Ooh, I'm excited to see Banyan.
15:24I am looking forward to Banyan because these are the people that helped us get our mom back.
15:29So it is going to be nice to meet those people who helped her along that road.
15:35What's going on?
15:37This is Alyssa, Alicia, and Kristen.
15:41Hi, girls.
15:42Hi.
15:43This is Dave.
15:44He, like, runs the alumni group.
15:46How you doing?
15:47Hi.
15:47Your mom's came really far.
15:49She never misses a meeting, and she's always bringing you guys up.
15:53This journey has been about her recovery and getting her sobriety back, but also having a
15:58big relationship with you guys again.
16:00And that's been important to her.
16:01I am very proud of her.
16:03Hearing them say that she is doing better for herself does kind of put a little ease to my mind,
16:08because now I know that she is on the right road and that she is wanting her family back.
16:13I mean, I do appreciate all the help that you guys, of course, have done.
16:17It has been a long road for all of us having to be the family that's also recovering from that.
16:22To see you guys, like, reunited again, and now you guys joining her on her journey in recovery,
16:27it's, it's, you can't put price tags on those.
16:29Right.
16:30And we're super proud of June for that, you know?
16:33It really feels good to, like, hear Banyan's side of mama's story and how good that she's doing.
16:38I'm really just grateful that she finally got the help she needed.
16:41June, we'll see you Thursday.
16:44Bye.
16:45Bye, y'all.
16:46I didn't want to go to an inpatient rehab to begin with, and now I'm doing a testimonial for a
16:52rehab, and I really feel honored.
16:54You know, hopefully it can help that person that's in need.
16:57Like, it may trigger somebody to want to go into treatment that wouldn't have normally went in before.
17:03Three, two, one.
17:05I'm really excited that you're here.
17:08How would you say your life has become more positive since completing treatment and starting on this
17:13journey of recovery?
17:14You know, I mean, one, being able to work on my relationship with my girls, to be able to spend
17:20more time with them, to tell them that I love them and they actually answered the damn phone to some.
17:27I don't have all the answers all the time, but I know where I want to go.
17:30How do you think that your addiction affected your girls, your family?
17:38Pumpkin was there when I couldn't be there, so I am very grateful for that.
17:44That's huge.
17:44Mama acknowledging, like, how I stepped up and that she is still proud of me for still taking
17:50care of Alana, it truly does mean a lot to me.
17:52Hey, y'all.
17:53I'm just here to let y'all know that if y'all are struggling out there today with your addiction,
17:58then call the people at Banyan. They are here to walk the journey with you,
18:02and you won't be disappointed.
18:05I thank you for coming and sitting with me, and life is beautiful, and it is going to continue
18:10to get better every day.
18:11Thank you, Alyssa.
18:13Listening to Mama's testimonial really made me realize how far she's come.
18:17I'm really proud of her, and I do want to stay longer and spend more time with Mama,
18:21so I'm really just hoping Pumpkin will let me stay.
18:24It was so nice meeting you guys.
18:25You too. Thank you. We really appreciate it.
18:27Yeah, of course.
18:38I'm walking home?
18:39I'm not walking home, Pete. Come on, let's go get Lana.
18:43Tell her to say, Lana!
18:44Lana!
18:46This trip to Florida has been fun, and I am super proud of Mama and Gino, but in some respect,
18:51I'm ready to go back home to Georgia, and I'm sure Alana is wanting the same.
18:55Alana!
18:57What are you doing?
18:59What do you mean what am I doing? I'm sleeping.
19:01You're none of your luggage is fine. I still have a long drive.
19:07Well, that's what I was going to kind of talk to you about.
19:12Talk to me about what?
19:13Why don't you come sit down?
19:14I'm going to jump on this.
19:19So I was going to see if you and Josh don't mind if I just stay here a little bit extra.
19:29Coming up on Mama June Road to Redemption, I am worried that Alana may not want to come back home.
19:36Josh, we have a problem.
19:38He cannot come home.
19:39Oh, God.
19:40Don't you have something to tell pumpkin too?
19:42What do you have to tell me?
19:56So I was going to see if if you and Josh don't mind
20:01if I just stay here a little bit extra.
20:07And how do you expect to get back home?
20:09Gino said something about a flight, like they could book me a flight back home.
20:14Um, I mean, it's just so nice to see Mama back how she is. It's kind of like she's old Mama now.
20:21I mean, I like that she's the old Mama too, but let's not forget like what they have done
20:26and that they are still under a year sober. And just like Dr. Ish has told us, statistically,
20:34they are supposed to fail.
20:37Yeah.
20:39I mean, it's like I want to be around Mama. I haven't been around her in a minute,
20:42and she's back sober, her and Gino both, so.
20:45But like you staying without me, I feel like is kind of pushing it.
20:52I mean, it's not that much longer.
20:55I mean, I get why Alana wants to stay down here, but I am worried that Alana may not want to come
21:02back home because there is finer things in Florida than there is back in Georgia. But, you know,
21:07she is 15 and I want to respect her decision. I mean, even if that kills me. I mean, if you are
21:14going to stay here and I'm not going to be here, like I would like you to stay in contact with me.
21:19I would like you to let me know if something happens.
21:22So I can stay?
21:25Yes, I guess.
21:30But this will not be a constant thing. You will not be coming back and forth all the time because we
21:37don't go off of what Mama says. I rules the roost.
21:43Okay.
21:43Also, don't let Jessica sleep in my bed. I can't make any promises.
21:48I love you.
21:49What do you mean you can't make any promises?
21:51Mama! Gina! We're about to go!
21:57Y'all got all your stuff, Peyton?
21:59Got all your stuff?
21:59Yeah.
22:00Give me a kiss.
22:03Oh, her fuzzy.
22:08Tell me, Alana, now give me some love.
22:10No, I'm not going home. Punga said I could stay.
22:12Really? I offered her to stay for just a few days.
22:17Finally, you're letting me take back my reins.
22:20Well, I didn't say that. I said that she was able to stay here and she had to keep in contact
22:25and that you need to make sure that she is on her school and on her Zoom and doing her homework.
22:30They're from like 8 to 3, Monday through Friday.
22:32So you'll be on the school work.
22:34We'll make sure she does what she's got to do.
22:36Thank you all for coming.
22:37Thank you all for coming.
22:38All right. Bye, y'all.
22:39Have fun. Bye.
22:39Bye, y'all.
22:40Love you.
22:40Y'all be safe.
22:41Bye.
22:42I love it.
22:43Alana, I love you.
22:44I love you too.
22:45Call me and stuff. I'll call y'all once we get home.
22:47Bye, y'all. Be safe. Bye, Miss Ella. I love you.
22:50Y'all have fun on that word.
22:59Hey, Jen. It's me, Mike.
23:13I really want to talk.
23:15Can you please give me a call? Thanks.
23:17As much as I like my outdoor living here now, I really miss Jennifer.
23:22But I also want to see Alana again.
23:24So I'm going to keep calling.
23:26I mean, you know, she's got to pick up eventually, right?
23:31Jennifer, call me back.
23:33Stop sending me the voicemail.
23:33Who was there?
23:50Hello?
23:51Mike, if you think I'm going to let you off the hook,
23:53you're dumber than what you look.
23:55Calm down.
23:55Let me tell you what happened.
23:57Even though I didn't know anything wrong,
23:59I just want to say I'm sorry.
24:01Sorry for what?
24:02Because you were out with another woman?
24:03I wasn't with nobody else.
24:05I was out with Alana.
24:07Really?
24:08You're going to blame it on Alana?
24:10Really nice, Mike.
24:11You made it clear.
24:12I mean, you didn't want me to see Alana.
24:14I mean, I didn't want to have to lie to you.
24:18Hello?
24:20She hung up.
24:22Josh, we have a problem.
24:32Oh, no.
24:45Alana, get on your Zoom classes.
24:48Oh, my God.
24:49I have to take this off.
24:49I mean, you know, I am kind of glad Punkin did let me stay a few extra days,
24:53because hanging in my pool and getting into Zoom classes is definitely something I can get used to.
25:00So, Alana, you done with your class?
25:01Yeah.
25:03Yeah, so what'd you learn about today?
25:04We're talking about the Gettysburg Address.
25:06Is it like 7900 Pennsylvania Avenue?
25:11Oh, man, it's not like a house address.
25:13It's like the president was speaking.
25:15Do you even know who the president was?
25:17I want to say maybe like George Washington.
25:20George Washington.
25:21Maybe even Barack Obama.
25:23Mama, it was Abraham Lincoln.
25:26Hey, y'all, it's your boy Abraham Lincoln, and I had a score of four, and it was 50 years ago.
25:35I give up.
25:37I think I'm going to stick to my own homework, okay?
25:42Okay, but look, on the real side of things,
25:47I wanted you to kind of understand, like, why I'm still in Florida, why I didn't come back to Georgia.
25:53It's not that I didn't love y'all, I didn't care about y'all.
25:56It was about, like, me getting myself back together.
26:00So I would have this success that I've had in recovery.
26:05I have missed out on a lot of y'all's life.
26:06I mean, look, I mean, you're almost, like, grown.
26:08Yeah.
26:09So now I'm looking forward, and I know that I want to be here for y'all,
26:14and I want to be the best mom I can be.
26:17Yeah, I feel like I can really see a difference in y'all.
26:21And now that I've done came out of that dark spot, I want to move forward together.
26:25Period.
26:27It's been so long since it's just been me and mama, and now it's just, like, the two of us again.
26:32It just makes me feel really happy.
26:33But anyway, just know I do love you.
26:37So I love you too, mama.
26:39Well, I need to finish my work.
26:42Whoa.
26:51Ella, you ready to go see Dada?
26:53Yeah.
26:55I really hope he's not too mad about me leaving Alana.
26:59You know, the drop back home is weird without Alana.
27:02I just hope that things go okay in Florida while I'm not there.
27:07I mean, I'm sure she's fine, and I hope that she's fine.
27:10I just hope that I didn't make a mistake.
27:14Coming up on Mama June Road to Redemption.
27:17Where's Alana?
27:18Alana may have had too much fun there.
27:20It's really pretty here.
27:21You want to check out your room?
27:22I love it.
27:23Mama's trying to bribe her with all the nice things.
27:26That's not going to fly.
27:27I do think it's going to start World War III.
27:29I am World War III.
27:30Hola.
27:31Oh, no.
27:44Yo, yo.
27:46Listen, bro.
27:47Pumpkin is like on her way.
27:49Uh-oh.
27:50I've got Sugar Bear living in my backyard.
27:53I have no job and a wife who is about to come home to witness it all and kick my ass.
27:57I'm hoping that Sugar Bear and Jennifer have settled their differences so he can be headed home.
28:02But if not, I got a plan B.
28:04You here to talk to Jennifer?
28:07She's pissed off at me because I didn't tell I was going to meet Alana.
28:10She thought I was cheating.
28:11Oh, God.
28:14I guess it's time to go to plan B.
28:17So I guess the next step here, man, is to straighten it up, man.
28:19Make it look like you were never here.
28:20And we got to put you under some camouflage.
28:23Tidy this up, bro.
28:24We'll make it seem like nobody was ever here.
28:25We'll see how it works.
28:30All right, brother.
28:31Appreciate it.
28:37Oh, crap.
28:41Pumpkin is going to kill me.
28:48Oh, man.
28:48I really got to go use the toilet.
28:55Dada, we're home, Dada.
29:00Hi.
29:01Come to see Dada.
29:05I love you too much.
29:06Oh, didn't you admit to him?
29:09Mommy admit to him, too.
29:11Oh, mommy's going too low.
29:18You have fun, Pip?
29:19Yeah.
29:20Yeah, tell me about when we went swimming in the pool.
29:22But it's so fun.
29:23Where's Alana?
29:28Well, um, Alana stayed in Florida with mama.
29:32What?
29:33So I'm assuming that you didn't feel the need to just even ask me,
29:36considering we're a teen?
29:37No, because when are you ever reasonable about the whole mama
29:40situation?
29:41I'm not too pleased with Pumpkin that she just decided to make
29:43the decision to leave Alana in Florida without talking to me.
29:46And half of me kind of just wants to get in the car and go get
29:49her ass and bring her back, because here with us is where she belongs.
29:52Hey, Ellie.
29:54Hey, Ellie.
29:57I miss you.
29:58Oh, I miss you too, Jessica.
30:00And I just miss Ellie.
30:02What are y'all in here fussing about?
30:04Alana didn't come back with me from Florida.
30:10Why the hell you leave Alana at mama's house?
30:12Exactly.
30:12Why would you leave her at your mother's house?
30:14Uh, because she wanted to spend more time with mama.
30:16I don't see the big deal.
30:17I mean, don't you have something to tell Pumpkin too?
30:19Not that I can think of.
30:21Mm-hmm.
30:22I'm pretty sure that Ella needs a bath.
30:24Her hiney probably stinks from that long ride.
30:27So if you just take care of that for me,
30:28that'd be a lovely thing a sister-in-law would do.
30:33What do you have to tell me, honey?
30:34I have nothing to tell you, honey.
30:37You know, on one leg, I really want to be pissed off
30:40at Pumpkin for leaving Alana in Florida.
30:42But I didn't tell her about Sugar Bear staying in the backyard.
30:45And I didn't inform her of me quitting my job.
30:47So I kind of just got to ride this one out until it crashes.
30:52I don't think I can hold it much longer.
30:54I trust your decisions as much as you trust mine.
30:57I just got to talk about things a little more.
31:01You know, I do a lot of things for a lot of people, man.
31:07So, you know, the decisions I make,
31:09you should completely trust while they're made.
31:12In every aspect of that.
31:13Excuse me, I got to go to the restroom.
31:15What the is Sugar Bear doing here?
31:18Do you mean he has to use my bathroom?
31:21Honey, I understand this.
31:22I did not say it was okay for Sugar Bear to be here.
31:26Why the is he here? Why?
31:28Can I explain why without you being off?
31:29Does he have a wife?
31:30Being all loud and .
31:32At least I didn't bring June back to stay here.
31:35And Josh has the audacity to lecture me on communication.
31:39Sugar Bear is living in our backyard.
31:41That's worse than me leaving Alana in Florida.
31:45Suge is here because she kicked him out because he was trying to see Alana
31:48and she thought he was cheating.
31:49When all he was trying to do was see his daughter,
31:52I just opened the door and Sugar Bear was there, you know.
31:55Sure, come on in.
31:56Yeah, let's have a pot of coffee and beef rotel dip.
32:00I mean, Jennifer won't take his calls. What do you want me to do?
32:02I bet she'll answer my phone.
32:03Oh, I'm sure she will, baby.
32:04Oh, I bet she will.
32:05I'm sure she will.
32:07I don't like Jennifer, but I also don't like the fact that Sugar Bear is staying here.
32:11So you know what they say.
32:12You know, you always got to give bees honey.
32:17Nope.
32:28You're just using it in the backyard.
32:29It's not that big of a deal.
32:30What you want?
32:34Sorry for blowing it up, but I spree.
32:38What the hell do you want?
32:40Trying to see maybe when you want to come pick up this lovely package I have at my house called
32:43your husband.
32:44Let me come home, please.
32:47If that is Mike, you tell him.
32:49He cannot come home.
32:50I wasn't cheating.
32:51I was with Alana.
32:53It's the truth.
32:54He wasn't out cheating.
32:56He was with Alana.
32:57Alana, you think I'm supposed to believe that bull crap?
33:01Trust me, nobody wants to hook up with him except your ass.
33:04Uh, hold up.
33:06Don't disrespect me.
33:08I'm not having that.
33:09So tell me this pumpkin.
33:11What is he going to do for me if I let him come back home?
33:14You want two bouquets of flowers?
33:16Okay.
33:18A home-cooked meal.
33:19I definitely think that he'll be more than willing to do that when he gets back home, you know?
33:23When I get back home.
33:24Go ahead and tell him no dessert for a very, very long time.
33:28She said she doesn't want any dessert for a while.
33:30Okay.
33:32I don't even want a name.
33:34If he could agree to that,
33:36he could come back home.
33:38Okay.
33:39That sounds great.
33:40I mean, I will send him right back your way.
33:43When we're done with this little call, lose my number.
33:46Yeah, why?
33:46Me too.
33:47Bye.
33:48Do I get the pack?
33:49Yes, please.
33:51Thanks, Josh.
33:51I appreciate it.
33:52Enjoy the beers we drink.
33:53No problem.
33:54I'll see you later.
33:56I think from this point forward, we'll just talk about everything.
33:58Yeah.
33:59Because God forbid I wake up one morning and Jennifer's in my house.
34:03You'll be sleeping in her backyard with divorce papers.
34:06Ooh, I love that you're taking me to go look at a new place.
34:17Nice amenities, some pools over there.
34:19Nice.
34:19And the beach is around the corner.
34:21Want to take a look inside?
34:22Yes, definitely.
34:23Come on up.
34:24We're going to be checking out a really cool apartment today.
34:26This place that we're staying is only temporary, so.
34:29And Alana's going with us because, you know,
34:31she's going to be spending a lot more time down here in Florida.
34:33Oh, wow.
34:34Look.
34:38What do you think?
34:38I like it.
34:40You want to check out your room?
34:41Oh, yeah.
34:42I'm going to get my own room.
34:43You get your own bathroom?
34:44Oh, my.
34:45This bathroom, nice.
34:46Oh, mama, this closet is humongous.
34:50This is way better than my room in Georgia.
34:53I can definitely see myself living in the apartment with mama and Gino.
34:57It is so big.
34:59I think I could get used to this Florida life.
35:01See, now you can do a pumpkin that we've got a nice new place.
35:05I love it.
35:15Oh, honey buns.
35:17Oh, hun.
35:17I need you to get up and nap.
35:21Why?
35:22You got to go back to work today.
35:27We'll see, honey.
35:29About work, you know, Alana's calling me.
35:38Hello.
35:39Hey.
35:40What are you doing up this early?
35:41Oh, I just came to look at some apartments with mama.
35:45So she needs your opinion on her apartment?
35:48It's really nice here.
35:49I have my own bathroom and everything.
35:51The room is big.
35:53Must be nice.
35:54Ella would really like it.
35:55I think we should come back down soon.
35:57I think Ella's pretty happy where she's at.
36:00Well, I think we're leaving, so I got to go.
36:02But to Ella, I said, hey, and I miss her, and I love her,
36:04and I'll make sure to be on my Zoom.
36:06I mean, I love you, and we miss you, but I am going to kill my mother.
36:18She's got Alana out apartment hunting at these nice-ass apartments mama probably cannot afford.
36:25Mama's trying to bribe her with all the nice things.
36:27I mean, she's family, we're family, and family is the most important thing right now.
36:33You know what I'm saying?
36:33And I think I'll just go get Alana.
36:36How are you going to go get Alana?
36:37Um, because I quit my job.
36:41You did what?
36:42You really quit your job?
36:57I did, honey. Just don't hit me with anything.
36:59You got another job? Like, closer? Here?
37:04Uh, yeah. I'm working on it.
37:07You know, I'm getting there. Working on it, honey.
37:09It just takes, things take time. You're a rushy person.
37:12Oh, you clearly rushed quitting your job before you had another one.
37:15How are we going to pay our bills?
37:17Right. See, I got that part covered, honey.
37:18You just don't worry about it.
37:20You know, I love my husband, but sometimes he made some stupid, stupid decisions, like quitting his job and not having another one lined up.
37:33Like, who does that?
37:35It's all fine and dandy.
37:37Oh, is it?
37:38Yeah, it is. Because now my resume is updated. I've got a little time to find a job.
37:43Well, what are we going to do in the meantime?
37:45Honey, we have money saved up. There's not a rush. Like, I have plenty of time. We're okay.
37:49You better hope so. You're actually going to be in the backyard like Shiggy was.
37:56Honey, I'm sorry I didn't tell you I quit my job, but to make it up to you, I'm going to go get Alana.
38:02Are you going to be okay with mama?
38:04I mean, I don't care what your mother thinks.
38:05I do think it's going to get a little hectic and start World War III if you go pick up Alana.
38:10I am World War III. Alana is our child, and now your mother's doing some slithery,
38:14snaky trying to get her to stay down there. So we're going to go down there and get her for you.
38:19Since we're a team, and this is our family, we're going to continue to take care of Alana like we have been.
38:26I mean, your mother's going to let down Alana again unless I put a stop to it.
38:30Alana's going to be pissed if you come down there because...
38:32Alana's going to have to learn that parents protect their children,
38:35and she didn't learn that from your mother. So we're going to teach it to her.
38:39This is ridiculous. I mean, Gina's let Alana down so many times,
38:42and now she's in Florida selling her all these pipe dreams about Florida,
38:45how great it's going to be, and then she took her apartment hunting.
38:49Not on my watch. I'm going to take my ass to Florida and get Alana and bring her back here
38:53where she belongs. So I'll just get up, I'll take my big ass down there, however long it takes,
38:57and then I'll come right back. It'll be fine, hun.
39:12So? I'm ready to come in. You are? Really?
39:26You said I could come home. First of all, what do you got for me?
39:31You know what? No. I want to talk about Alana.
39:42Well, I had to go see Alana because, you know, diabetes and hereditary,
39:48and trying to get her to go to the doctor and get checked.
39:50I couldn't live with myself. I didn't tell her, Jennifer.
39:53And so you lied to me.
39:55Yeah, I'm sorry.
39:56I'm sitting here thinking you're cheating with June.
39:59That'd be a cold day in hell. You know I'd never cheat.
40:02But you should have told me the truth.
40:04I should have.
40:10I will never keep you from your child. Never.
40:13Alana is yours. You could go all you want. Just don't ask me to go.
40:20I understand Mike seeing Alana. I really do. Because he's scared she might have some of the
40:26of the same medical problems. That's understandable. As long as I don't have to go,
40:31we're going to be just fine. You're never going to lie to me again.
40:35I promise I'll never lie again.
40:39You just sit down and relax. Let me make you a nice dinner, and we'll talk.
40:44I'm sorry. I love you.
40:48Okay.
40:48Okay. You can come in now.
40:52Thank you, Jesus. I'm finally home.
40:55Mm-hmm.
41:11You know, Alana's been doing really well. And there's a part of me that's worried about me
41:15going on here and getting her. It's going to make her lash out again. But it's a risk I'm willing
41:19to take, because Lord knows what June's filling her head with down in Florida. And all that stops down.
41:32What are we going to do tomorrow? Let's see if we got the whole day.
41:34Get my nails done.
41:35Okay. That's fine. And what else do you want to do?
41:38I got to go do my lashes.
41:39Will we have time to go to the beach too, or?
41:41I think we make sure we go to the beach first, just in case I just happen to lose any nails at the beach.
41:53Do you honestly like this new place that we looked at?
41:56Yeah, I do like it. It's real nice. We can get that place tomorrow.
42:08Y'all expecting somebody?
42:09No.
42:18Hola.
42:19What the hell are you doing here?
42:20I'm coming to pick up Alana.
42:23Excuse me?
42:25Pumpkin didn't tell me anything about Josh coming.
42:28Alana's coming home with me right now. She's our child.
42:32Getting Pumpkin to have this conversation with you? Like, I got this. I'm her mother.
42:36This isn't good. Technically, she is mine now.
42:43Oh, no.
42:44Next time on Mama J.
42:55Josh, I'm 15. I'm grown.
42:58Nah.
42:58You think you can just come in my house anytime you want?
43:01If the paper says so.
43:01I'll always be the mama. We really don't know what the gonna happen.
43:06Might just be World War II up here.
43:08Could you just please send me a lot?
43:10What the hell's going on?
43:12I got this under control.
43:15She's lying.
43:16She's looking at two years.
43:17Nobody's going to care that she's Mama J.
43:19You wanna be.
43:36You
