Episode Title: "A New Pledge Between Zatch and Tia"

Description: Kiyo urges Megumi and Tia to flee while he and Zatch contend with Maruss and Rambrant, driving them out of the building. In the ferocity of the duel, Maruss castigates Zatch for not treating Tia as a competitor; Zatch in turn accuses him of reneging his friendship with her. Watching from nearby, Tia is astonished at Zatch's development from their previous encounter on the Mamodo world. Inspired by his courage, she and Megumi defy Kiyo's advice and intercede, which allows Zatch to eliminate Maruss. Megumi and Tia then brace for a brawl with the protagonists, who instead wish them well and prepare to leave. Tia, however, angrily insists that they still fight but is assuaged when Zatch considers her trustworthy enough to be a "kind" ruler, and the two Mamodo form a pact. Megumi resumes her concert performance with Tia at peace with herself. Meanwhile, Kiyo rejoins Suzy at their seats and finds in his pocket a message from Megumi, who promises to repay him another time.
