00:02 It's been two days since Subis was rushed to the vets.

00:10 Now fully recovered,

00:16 she's back home with the rest of the family,

00:18 where pregnant Emma shows no signs yet of going into labor

00:22 and is still looking after Subis' baby.

00:25 - We were all definitely looking out for signs

00:28 of Subis showing any interest in the youngster.

00:30 But we never saw her go up and touch the baby.

00:34 Occasionally she might like sort of wandered past

00:36 and had a look, but that was as far as it went.

00:39 - That bonding between mother and child

00:45 is very much a physical thing.

00:47 You know, the holding, the breastfeeding,

00:50 all of that is a bonding thing.

00:52 So certainly to miss out on any part of that has an impact.

00:58 - With Emma tending to the newborn,

01:04 Subis appears content to just care

01:06 for her two-year-old toddler, Siska.

01:08 - I think it's the million dollar question,

01:15 why did Emma sort of take Subis' baby?

01:18 They're very intelligent animals

01:21 and they can really empathize with each other.

01:23 But you know, it's just something

01:24 we'll always really be guessing about.

01:27 It just really instills in you

01:33 that you just really don't know,

01:35 with working with animals, what can happen.

01:38 Never ever rule anything out ever again.
