01:49 been excited about a fall collection.
01:51 I'm trying to think about what products have been released
01:54 in the last two or three years during the fall.
01:59 And most of the time, I think it's
02:01 like the summer and winter collections that are like,

02:09 So the collection that I'm talking to you guys about
02:11 is the Stila Modern Goddess Collection for this fall of 2015.

02:16 I love-- I love the direction that makeup is headed in,
02:21 because not only is it easy, but it's also simple.
02:26 And it's all about embracing your natural beauty.

04:07 This whole collection feels like it
04:08 was influenced by the makeup trends of Korea and Japan,
04:11 because a lot of the products are very unique to, I guess,
04:17 American style or American type or even European makeup.
04:21 And that's the cushion trend.
04:23 But I have never seen anything like this
04:25 besides the ColourPop shadows.
04:28 And this is the Perfectly Poreless Putty Perfector.
04:33 Take that for alliteration.
04:35 That is four Ps.
04:36 Perfectly Poreless Putty Perfector.
04:38 This is a product that could be used alone,
04:40 or it could be used on top of your foundation.
04:42 But let me tell you, you do not need to use this product
04:45 on top of foundation.
04:46 It is awesome all on its own.
04:49 Basically, it's a foundation type product or a skin product,
04:53 a base product.
04:54 And what it's designed to do is give you coverage,
04:57 hide your pores, kind of just give you perfect looking skin
05:00 without feeling like you're wearing anything.
05:02 And I swear you guys, it feels like you're not wearing anything.
05:07 I'm going to bring you guys in closer so you can see my face.
05:10 Welcome to my face.
05:11 I know you've missed that.
05:12 I keep forgetting to say it.
05:13 So this is what the compact looks like.
05:15 It comes with about one third of an ounce.
05:18 And it comes with a big mirror and then this plastic cover
05:22 that protects the putty.
05:24 The putty basically feels like a spongy texture.
05:27 If you're familiar with ColourPop shadows,
05:29 same type of texture.
05:31 It is definitely like a putty.
05:32 It's moldable.
05:33 So if you could see mine, it's kind of conformed
05:36 to how hard I've pushed into it with a sponge.
05:40 When I use this product, I use a sponge that it comes with.
05:43 Don't judge me, it's dirty.
05:45 And it's just one of those--
05:48 There's two kinds of sponges.
05:49 There's the porous sponge and then the kind that has
05:51 almost like that shiny, glossy, smooth finish.
05:54 That's the kind of sponge that this is.
05:57 And what I do is I just take the product into here.
06:00 You can see it's kind of dented and molded from where I push.
06:04 And the first swipe, you'll see your pores.
06:08 So it's kind of telling you where you need more coverage.
06:11 I swear, this is a product that comes with like
06:14 silent instructions.
06:16 You take it, you do one swipe and it points out
06:19 exactly where your pores are.
06:20 You do a second swipe and they're gone.
06:23 It's incredible.
06:24 I feel like I've never tried anything like this.
06:28 It's not like a liquid foundation.
06:30 It's not like a powder foundation.
06:32 It's not like a whipped foundation.
06:35 I have never used anything like this.
06:38 But this gives me the coverage that I feel I need.
06:42 It conceals my pores so I don't have to use an additional primer.
06:46 It's easy to apply and it's quite a unique product.
06:50 I think that whenever I use something different or unique
06:55 or new or trendy or innovative,
06:58 I feel like I'm using something that's more exciting for me.
07:01 Because when you're in beauty vlogging,
07:03 I mean you try so many products all the time
07:06 and it's hard for something to come around
07:08 that's innovative and is going to impress you.
07:10 And this is awesome.
07:12 It only comes I think in five or six different shades
07:15 and I'm in the color light or in the shade light.
07:18 That's the second from the lightest.
07:21 You guys, like look at my skin.
07:24 Isn't that incredible?
07:25 Like I'm not wearing a foundation.
07:26 I'm not wearing a primer.
07:27 I'm not wearing a setting powder.
07:29 I'm not wearing a concealer.
07:32 There, I said it all.
07:34 I should just end the video right here and be like,

07:41 What is it?
07:42 Perfectly poreless putty perfecter.
07:44 There are two mascara type products in this collection as well.
07:49 One is called the Lash Stunner Extreme Lash Primer
07:53 and the other one is the Huge Extreme Lash Mascara.
07:57 I'm using both of those products today.
07:59 I'm only using one coat of each so that you guys can see what difference it makes.
08:04 You can see from the side when I turn my head,
08:08 it looks like I'm wearing extensions.
08:10 This is definitely not a product that's going to be for everyone
08:15 and I'll tell you why.
08:16 But as far as my taste is concerned, I really like it.
08:20 I am a person that likes wet mascaras
08:23 and I'm not a person that likes to spend time using primers.
08:28 But when I used these in combination, I was like, "Wow, I kind of really like these together."
08:34 The eyelash primer is the Lash Stunner.
08:37 It does have fibers in it, but I like that it's like a tinted eyelash primer.
08:44 Have you guys tried those eyelash primers that are wiped
08:47 and you put it on and you're like, "Okay, it's going to take like three times the amount of work
08:52 to make sure that I have mascara in every single spot that's white to cover it up."
08:58 And because this is tan, if you're in a hurry and you miss a spot,
09:02 it's not going to stand out like you put white out on your lashes.
09:05 It's not going to be obvious.
09:07 And there's nothing more obvious than when you coat your lashes with a white product.
09:13 So because this is tinted, it does give you kind of that wiggle room or room for error
09:20 that is a good room for error.
09:23 Am I making any sense?
09:24 One positive and one pro and one con, and it's both.
09:28 It's a pro and a con.
09:29 For me, it's a pro.
09:30 For a lot of people, it might be a con.
09:32 It does have a fragrance.
09:35 An amazing, beautiful, delicious fragrance.
09:39 I wish they sold this as a perfume.
09:41 It smells so good, but it is going in the eye area.
09:45 So if you are sensitive and don't like products with fragrance, it might bother you.
09:50 I didn't notice anything.
09:52 I usually am prone to red eyes, and it didn't do a thing.
09:55 So that's something to consider.
09:58 It does have fragrance, but, you guys, it's really awesome.
10:01 And then the mascara is really awesome.
10:03 It has a really chubby wand.
10:04 It's a very unique wand shape that I've never seen before.
10:08 It has really short bristles, and it's very kind of like stumpy.
10:14 But it gets in there.
10:15 I mean, it does the job.
10:17 It is definitely a really dry mascara, and it is a volumizing mascara.
10:23 I don't know how much length it's going to give you on its own,
10:27 but if you take the time to apply this carefully and really lengthen out your lashes,
10:32 then this one can just come in and coat them.
10:34 But on its own, I don't see it being a lengthening mascara at all because it is so thick.
10:39 So it's just going to give you the thickness and the fullness in your lashes.
10:43 There are two brushes in the collection.
10:45 The first one is called the Wonder Brush for face and body,
10:49 and then the other one is called the Laquil Precision Eyeliner Brush.
10:55 These are the boxes that they come in, if you care.
10:58 And then the brushes, you guys aren't ready for the cuteness of these brushes.
11:02 This is what the brushes look like.
11:04 How cute are they?
11:05 I mean, the whole brushed gold packaging, like the antique gold, is so stunning for me.
11:11 This is a collection that emphasizes elegance, the simple elegance of your beautiful face,
11:15 but it also carries that theme through into the actual products and the packaging.
11:22 So the first one is the Laquil.
11:25 So it's supposed to look kind of like those old-fashioned--
11:28 when you used to write with a feather, right?
11:32 Like a quill type.
11:34 You know what I'm saying?
11:35 You know what I'm saying.
11:36 So you can actually take this off.
11:37 This is just decoration, and then you pop it open,
11:41 and you insert the bottom part or the cover, and then it's a full-length brush.
11:46 The brush itself, they're all synthetic, but, oh my god,
11:50 if you don't know how to apply liner, this is going to be like,
11:53 "Don't worry, girl, I got you. I'll hold your hand through the process."
11:56 And it gives you eyeliner like a pro.
11:58 It's amazing.
11:59 I really, really, really love this one.
12:01 It's super easy to clean, and it doesn't hold on to dinginess or grunginess,
12:06 and if you want to feel really awesome, what you could do is you could leave this on
12:12 and be like, "Oh, you know, I'm just being all super fancy
12:15 with my calligraphy writing on my eyelid."
12:18 You know?
12:19 Okay, let's move on.
12:20 The other one is kind of a miss for me for the simple fact that it's cumbersome,
12:26 and it's kind of--I just don't like the texture.
12:31 It's one of those synthetic brushes that feels really fake.
12:36 It's really good for--okay, don't judge me,
12:40 but sometimes I like to apply highlight, like the highlight that I apply to my face,
12:44 I like to apply to my decollete, or if I'm using a shimmery bronzer,
12:49 I also like to apply that to my collarbones to emphasize them
12:54 and to kind of draw attention to them if I'm wearing a shirt that will allow it.
12:58 And this is beautiful for that.
13:00 As a body brush, it's really awesome.
13:02 I can't imagine using this on my face.
13:04 I just don't like how it feels.
13:06 I feel like it would just fling the product around too much.
13:10 It's the priciest product in the collection, and I would probably avoid it.
13:13 And the last product that is something very unique I've never seen before
13:17 are the Got Inked Cushion Eyeliners, and these come in six different colors,
13:23 and again, the packaging carries through everything.
13:27 Do you see how beautiful this is?
13:29 It's like the brush antique gold that I was telling you about.
13:32 And these are cushion liners for the eyes.
13:36 You saw me use them at the intro of this video,
13:38 and basically it's like a sponge that's saturated with the ink or the liner,
13:44 and these are just like the Korean-type cushions of makeup.
13:49 The Korean beauty products that are made with cushions--
13:54 you know what I'm trying to say?
13:56 I'm just going to give up, but you know what I'm talking about.
13:59 And so it comes in six different colors.
14:01 The first one that I have, the one that I'm holding, is blue sapphire,
14:05 and it looks just like that.
14:07 Then we have obsidian, which is black, and that's the one that I'm wearing.
14:13 In conjunction with garnet--look how beautiful that is--
14:17 it comes off almost like a maroon-y brown on the eyes.
14:21 And then there's also amethyst, which is a beautiful purple.
14:27 Copper ink, which kind of looks like the one I'm wearing,
14:30 except it's actually really metallic, like a lot more metallic.
14:34 I kind of really like it.
14:36 And then the last one is smoky quartz.
14:40 Look how pretty that is. It's such a unique color.
14:42 It's almost like a dirty goldish olive green.
