Sam Browne became one of the most popular British dance band vocalists of the 1930's. On this superb recording featuring an especially refined, almost classical arrangement, Mr. Browne was accompanied by Peggy Cochrane, a great, but nowedays sadly forgotten violinist, pianist and singer. Record was made in 1933.
