On the 7th of next July 2023 it will be exactly 30 years since the night Mia Zapata lead singer of the American punk band The Gits and icon of the emerging grunge scene was beaten, raped, and murdered in Seattle.
Remembering Mia let's also turn our thoughts to the thousands of women beaten raped and killed in the world.
