00:00 Hey guys, welcome to my channel. My name is Oudie and I'm super excited to be vlogging
00:07 right now because this is going to be like my first vlog experience. This is going to
00:12 be like my first video. I don't even have Snapchat so this is going to be like something
00:16 new-ish for me. But other than that I'm super excited. I'm also excited because this is
00:23 like my first time rocking my hair without a wig. For the past two years now I've been
00:33 wearing wigs non-stop. And because I've been wearing wigs I haven't been taking care of
00:39 my hair like I should. My hair ended up becoming natural and I don't even know how to take
00:45 care of natural hair. I just braided it every six weeks and just washed it and braided it
00:51 and washed it and braided it. So I decided my hair is going to feel the air, the breeze.
00:57 And maybe that will make my edges grow because I have thinning edges. And I actually got
01:01 a new product that I researched about. I didn't know about it but it's called Topic. It's
01:07 hair building fibers. I sprinkled some on my edges because I have thin edges. But I
01:14 was a little scared because I just permed my hair. But this is something I'm going to
01:19 be experimenting and seeing how that works for me. Because I just want to let my hair
01:26 breathe this summer. I don't want to put any weight. It's too hot for that. For me, personally,
01:32 I love wigs. I love long hair. I like my bob because that's what I was rocking prior to
01:37 this. But I just want to take care of my hair this time. So hopefully this look is going
01:45 to last. But I wrapped the hair. I didn't even pin it. So it's super comfortable. And
01:52 this is the final look. Let me just turn. See it's like, I think it's a pack and a half.
02:02 It should just be a pack or half a pack or something. But I don't know. I just cut it
02:08 off my old wig that I was using. And I straightened it because it was like this little wavy. But
02:14 yeah, it's this long. And I try to perm my hair. And this is what happened. And mind
02:25 you, take it into account, I didn't perm my hair for two years. So this is the best I
02:28 could do at my house. But I laid it down pretty good. I learned from the best. So yeah, a
02:35 little bit about myself. I'm a grad student and I'm studying public health, which is my
02:40 first love. Especially like emergency preparedness. And I work on the side as a colorist. They
02:48 call it colorist at Sephora. And I'm in the process of getting certified for makeup. So
02:54 that's my hobby. So that's what I'm doing right now, which is super fun because I'm
02:59 learning a lot of new tricks, a lot of new tips. And I'm learning the newest things that
03:04 are out there. So I'll share those with you guys as well. And I'll also share, because
03:09 we get gratis. If you're working at Sephora, you get free stuff. So I'll show you guys
03:17 a free haul, as they say. So I'll do a free haul video one of these days and show you
03:23 what I got. So I'm super excited for this. But I look forward to sharing what I learned
