Imran Khan is a Pakistani politician, former cricketer, and the current Prime Minister of Pakistan. Born on October 5, 1952, in Lahore, Pakistan, Imran Khan rose to fame as the captain of the Pakistani cricket team, leading them to victory in the 1992 Cricket World Cup. After retiring from cricket, he founded the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) political party in 1996.

Imran Khan's political career has been marked by his calls for reform and anti-corruption measures in Pakistan. He ran for Prime Minister in 2013 and again in 2018, winning the latter election and assuming office on August 18, 2018. As Prime Minister, he has focused on improving the economy, combating corruption, and promoting peace and stability in the region.

Outside of politics, Imran Khan is known for his philanthropic work through the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, which he founded in memory of his mother who died of cancer. He has also been involved in various other charitable initiatives throughout his career.
