00:00 Hey guys, so it's back to school time. Woo! Yeah!
00:03 Not really.
00:05 Anyway, let's get started. I'm going to place some concealer on my spots and
00:09 then just blend that in to the rest of my skin.
00:13 It's going to be a really quick and easy tutorial because there's not really much I can go into depth about.
00:18 It's just really really straightforward. Really, this is what I would do if I was going to school. It's quick, it's simple,
00:25 it's easy, and it is effective, and it looks really fresh and pretty and just polished, which is always what we want.
00:31 We don't want anything too heavy for school because it's school and we don't really need, you know, a full face of makeup just to
00:37 learn stuff, do we?
00:39 Anywho, I'm just going to apply that underneath my eyes just to conceal any darkness. This concealer is quite a light concealer.
00:46 It's not too heavy, so it's going to look nice and natural.
00:49 Then I'm going to apply a mineral powder. Now, I'm using powder because it looks the most natural,
00:54 but you can really build it up and create a full coverage if that is what you need.
00:57 So if you don't need much coverage, you can just, you know, apply a light layer,
01:01 but if you need quite a bit, then you just add more.
01:03 You'll maintain that natural finish because it is a powder and you can still see your skin
01:08 shining through it and it looks nice and, yeah, just natural, which is what you want for school, in my opinion anyway.
01:13 Next, I'm going to grab a smaller brush and apply that underneath my eyes just to set that concealer and also to lighten up that
01:21 area a little bit as well, down the bridge of my nose and then to the spots that I had on my cheeks just to add a
01:26 little bit more coverage in the areas that needed it. Next is blush.
01:29 Definitely focus the blush on the apples of your cheeks because it makes you look much more flushed and healthy and awake and youthful.
01:36 Then I'm going to fill in my brows.
01:38 This is just an optional step. If you have full brows naturally, you can just brush them through with a brow gel to set them
01:45 in place, which is what I am doing in a second, but I've kind of sparse brows,
01:49 so I feel the need to fill them in just a little bit. But here, I'm just setting them in place with a brow gel.
01:55 Now, I do know what it's like to have to wake up really, really early to get to school,
02:00 so using this colour eyeshadow or highlighter kind of makes your eyes look more awake and open and
02:05 fresh and not incredibly tired.
02:08 So I'm going to place it on my eyelids and then in the inner corner to open my eyes up a little bit and then
02:14 on my cheekbones, just on my finger,
02:17 very quickly. Nothing too fancy. Then, obviously, mascara. I love my mascara, so I'm going to place quite a bit on.
02:23 I did forget to line my waterline with a white eyeliner, which helps to make you look more awake,
02:28 but I have that packed away in my boxes because I'm moving so I couldn't really fetch it out, unfortunately.
02:34 Next, I'm going to apply a lipstick. This is just a nice pinky shade. It's not too pale, not too bright,
02:39 just a very natural nudish pink, which is perfect for school.
02:44 Good luck with going back to school, guys. I hope you have a fantastic year and learn lots and enjoy and have lots of fun.
02:50 And yeah, thanks for watching, and I'll see you guys later. Bye!
