On April 14 – 16, 2023, the Desert RATS Trail Running Festival by UTMB became the first 2023 UTMB World Series event to take place in the United States. The event welcomed over 1,100 participants from around the world to enjoy this desert race in Fruita, Colorado. Offering four scenic courses of 50K, 42K, 21K and 10K, elite and passionate runners from around the world were treated to some of the most spectacular racing on the planet. Runner enjoyed mesa climbs, views along the Colorado River, and the vastly scenic desert of Western Colorado.
