00:10 Hi guys, I'm Tina from Makeup Wearables, and this is a fishtail braid version of the Starburst bun tutorial.
00:17 Slice out a square section in front of your face and clip it out of the way.
00:21 Then put the rest of your hair in a high ponytail.
00:26 Now I'm gonna use some hair wax by EDA Pro and apply it all over the hair so my braids will be more
00:32 noticeable and more defined.
00:35 EDA Pro sent me a couple of their hair oils to try out along with some other goodie samples.
00:40 Here I'm opening the hair wax sample, and of course it wasn't nearly enough product for my thick hair.
00:46 So I'm gonna use the hair wax on the top and the moisturizing paste on the ends,
00:51 which actually worked out perfectly for this hairstyle.
00:54 If you have thick curly hair that is extremely frizzy and dry,
00:58 I definitely recommend that you check this out.
01:00 This paste will also work as a texturizer for normal hair and can be used for cute side braids in the summer.

01:13 Now I'm gonna use two wets from the Luxuries for Princess, and can I just tell you guys how happy I am that I discovered this brand?

01:26 I'm clipping them like this for this hairstyle.
01:29 All right, now take a small piece from the crown,
01:40 and a small piece from the ponytail,
01:46 and crisscross them by taking the bottom strand over the top piece.
01:56 Then take hair from the crown and cross it over to the top piece,
02:01 and take some hair from the ponytail and cross it over to the bottom piece.
02:12 So basically we're going to alternate taking hair from the crown and the ponytail and cross them over.
02:18 So again, hair from the crown goes into the top piece,
02:22 and hair from the ponytail goes into the bottom piece, so you always end up with two sections.
02:38 So continue braiding like this until you run out of hair from the crown.

04:14 And grab a strand from the bottom and
04:17 cross it over to the top and just
04:19 continue fishtail braiding your way all
04:21 the way to the bottoms of your hair.
