00:00 Garen Thomas!
00:02 The sky is pink over Rammontanapel!
00:09 Garen, shorter but intense stage. How did you deal with Pino attacking from far out?
00:15 Yeah, we stayed calm. We knew it was a smaller group. Obviously the first big group that went away, there were three EF guys in there.
00:22 It was a strong move so we wanted to close that down and then when Pino went with, I think, five guys in the end, we stayed in control.
00:33 I think the EF guys, Ian Pavel, went too far behind. Really good rides by them to stay close. They came back on the descent and they could ride the valley in the first part of the climb.
00:41 So, yeah, it was all under control. Obviously it's not ideal. He's a great rider. We don't want him to gain a heap of time but I think the boys controlled it really well.
00:51 It could have been a dangerous stage. Is it an ideal scenario at the end?
00:57 Yeah, I think the way the wind was at the end, it made it quite hard for attacks. I was waiting for some big attacks but I think Primoz was probably happy to leave me in the jersey for a few more days.
01:10 Let us control the race and buy this time for next week, that's the feel I get from him.
01:15 Thank you.
01:18 30 km of the finish line. It flattens out here. They're going to come to the line. They're going to have to sprint it out, Matt. 700 m to go. Thibaut Pino has tightened the ratchets on his sprinting shoes.
01:28 He certainly has. The road swing left and it tilts up and they'll be heading the last 300 or 400 m very shortly as Tyman Arendsman brings back the threat posed briefly by Damiano Caruso.
01:39 Arendsman looking strong just on the right-hand side. Sepp Kuss looks like he's winding things up.
01:45 Here we go, here's the sprint for the line. Sepeda opening it up, Thibaut Pino shutting it down. Sepeda leading out Pino. Rubio now starting to get involved.
01:52 And Sepeda is taking this to the line. Is Pino going to be beaten? Rubio goes past him. Sepeda delivering a punch to the line but it's not over yet.
02:01 As the road rises up, Rubio recovering and Pino coming past Sepeda. But Aino Rubio, the Colombian from Movistar, gets round them in the end and takes a brilliant victory.
02:14 Does he though? 200 m to go. Pino back on terms and Rubio is going to hold them off. Rubio from nowhere. Aino Rubio the winner.
02:23 In Switzerland, Pino beaten into second place. Movistar have got their win in the most unexpected fashion. Aino Rubio take a bow. That came from nowhere.
02:36 He left it late and when he delivered that punch no one had a response. Head bowed. Pino comes to the line beaten into second place.
02:45 And Sepeda who pulled the trigger first has to settle for third.
