A poorly grandmother was elated to see her younger sister during a surprise visit to her nursing home - after she travelled over 1,000 miles to see her. Donna Martin, 76, was awaiting a visit from her granddaughter, but was over the moon when her sister Charlene Williams turn up out of the blue. She smiles and greets her granddaughter Angelyca, 24, but her face lit up with shock and joy as Charlene, 68, walked in behind her. Donna, who suffers from post-polio syndrome, resides in a care home in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA. The sisters, who speak every day on Zoom when studying the Bible, hadn't seen one another in person for two years. So when Charlene made the mammoth journey from Louisville, Kentucky, to Florida, the excitement was palpable.
