A man "cheated death" when his e-scooter burst into flames while on charge in his kitchen.
Dell Williams, 37, was charging his e-scooter at his two-storey terraced house in Harlesden, north west London, when the explosion occurred.
He attempted to tackle the flames with a fire blanket, but was overcome by fumes and was forced to run out of the house.
