Musk Subpoenaed in Epstein lawsuit
The U.S. Virgin Islands has issued a subpoena to Tesla CEO Elon Musk as part of the government's lawsuit against JPMorgan Chase over sex trafficking facilitated by Jeffrey Epstein, a former customer of the bank. The subpoena, which was issued on April 28, seeks documents related to any communication between Musk, JPMorgan, and Epstein, as well as any information on Epstein's involvement in human trafficking. The Virgin Islands alleges that JPMorgan enabled and benefited from Epstein's trafficking activities. JPMorgan denies the government's claims and CEO Jamie Dimon is scheduled to be deposed for the lawsuits starting on May 26. Musk replied to a tweet regarding the article, denying any involvement with Epstein and criticizing the idea of taking financial advice from a "dumb crook."
