There has been another dog attack in Caerphilly council, with two 7 year old the latest victims in the area. This recent attack only caused minor injuries to one of the boys, but has left them both traumatised. In the past 18 months there have been 2 fatal attacks, with another non-fatal attack involving a 5 month old baby last week.

Evidence of toxic waste has been found at a community woodland near a quarry in Caerphilly, after reports of a toxic smell in the area. It is believed a chemical firm from Newport dumped polychlorinated biphenyl, PCB’s in the area decades ago. A public inquiry into the situation will now take place.
