00:02 Hi, I'm Reva, and this is my beautiful blue-eyed model,
00:08 Hannah.
00:09 In this tutorial, I'm going to share with you
00:11 some helpful tricks and tips to complement those baby blues.
00:16 I'm starting by loading up my 810 brush with the Auburn eye
00:19 pencil.
00:20 This will create a cream-based shadow
00:23 on the lid of Hannah's eyes.
00:26 I'm starting at the lash line, and I'm just
00:29 lightly buffing the Auburn eye pencil along the lid.
00:34 I'm moving back and forth between one eye and the other.
00:38 As I move my way up to the crease,
00:41 I'm going to soften it even more so it blends.
00:45 When you're applying this, you want
00:46 to be careful not to drop the outer corner,
00:49 or the eye will actually look a little bit more droopy
00:51 than it is.
00:52 I'm not too worried about it being even at the moment,
00:57 because I'm just going to be blending shadows on top of it.
01:01 This is just to lay down the base color.
01:04 I'm using the 800 brush.
01:06 The first color I've selected for her eyeshadow application
01:09 is Firebrick.
01:10 This brush is excellent for diffusing those edges
01:13 and really making it look soft while still
01:16 using such a vibrant color.
01:17 I'm now using Spanish Gold to soften
01:23 the intensity of the Firebrick.
01:25 So I'm just going to lightly dust the Spanish Gold
01:28 over the lid.
01:29 You can see that it's really softening
01:31 that orange intensity.
01:33 I want to create a slight contour in the crease.
01:36 So to do that, I'm going to mix together
01:38 a little bit of the Graphite as well as the Sienna
01:42 with my 810 brush and mix it together on my station
01:46 mat here before I apply.
01:49 By lifting up the eyebrow, I'm able to really see
01:53 the contour of her crease.
01:56 So that's what I'm trying to hit right here, just
01:58 to give it a little bit of depth.
01:59 Back with the 800 blending brush to blend this crease out,
02:08 giving it a softer crease.
02:12 To create a subtle drop shadow, I'm
02:14 using my Auburn eye pencil and my 210 angle brush
02:18 and just lightly dragging it along the lower lash line.
02:21 I'm starting at the outer corner of the eye and heading inward
02:25 and then connecting in the middle
02:27 once I bring it from the inner corner to the center.
02:32 I'm using the Espresso eye shadow
02:35 and ever so lightly dabbing it right on top of the Auburn eye
02:41 pencil that I've just applied.
02:42 I'm using the same brush, the 210 angle brush.
02:48 To further define the eyes, I'm using my Cake liner in brown.
02:52 I'm using my 100 brush, activated with a bit of water.
02:55 And I'm going to go ahead and place it on the upper lid
02:58 along the lash line.
03:02 I start from the outer corner and I work my way in.
03:04 And I'm really hugging that lash line.
03:07 To complete this look, I'm using the Volumizing Cream Mascara
03:11 500 fan brush.
03:14 I usually start on the top part of the lashes
03:17 and I just flick it out, going all the way
03:20 from the root to the end.
03:23 This brush is excellent for me to just turn on its side
03:26 and really coat each individual lash.
03:28 I'm using Soft Peach on her cheeks
03:37 to give it a little bit of a pop.
03:39 It's in the same family as the orange and the warm tones
03:43 that we've used on her eyes.
03:44 So we're just kind of going with the same theme.
03:47 Well, that concludes our blue eye tutorial.
03:52 Hannah, let's get your hair done and get you into wardrobe.
03:54 [MUSIC PLAYING]
03:58 it.
