00:00 Hi guys welcome back to our channel today we're making salmon potato
00:04 sauerkraut bake with my honey. We're going to need 4 salmon fillets, 5
00:10 potatoes, 24 ounce jar of sauerkraut, some caraway seasoning, 2 small tomatoes
00:18 sliced, it can be canned or fresh, half a bell pepper, half an onion, a handful of
00:26 dill, 1 carrot, salt and pepper, some vegetable oil, 2 cups of water or some
00:35 dry white wine. First we're going to preheat our oven to 425 degrees then we
00:42 need to salt and pepper our salmon. Got to open up the sauerkraut we love this
00:47 one especially you can find it at Aldi. Then we add the oil to the bottom of the
00:53 pot and scoop all of the sauerkraut into the pot spreading it out for our base.
00:59 Now we add our veggies that's the onion, carrot, pepper and we'll slice our
01:06 tomato for later.
01:09 After that we toss the salmon in we cut the fillets in half to make them fit
01:16 better. Next is the sliced potatoes, tomatoes and about 1 tablespoon of salt.
01:27 We are almost ready but we need our seasonings which is the pepper and the
01:34 caraway.
01:39 Now drizzle a little oil over the dish and pour the water or wine in. Then we
01:49 are ready to cover it and bake for one hour. After we've baked it the hour we
01:55 add our dill and bake uncovered for 15 minutes.
