Akshaya Tritiya, also known as Akti or Akha Teej, is an annual Hindu and Jain spring festival. It falls on the third tithi of the bright half of the month of Vaisakha. It is regionally observed as an auspicious day by Hindus and Jains in India, it signifies the "third day of unending prosperity".
अक्षय तृतीया का दिन स्वंयसिद्ध मुहूर्त माना जाता है. ये पर्व वैशाख माह के शुक्ल पक्ष की तृतीया तिथि को मनाया जाता है. हिंदू धर्म में इस दिन को बहुत खास माना गया है. अक्षय तृतीया पर त्रैतायुग का आरंभ हुआ था, अक्षय तृतीया पर विष्णु अवतार भगवान परशुराम जी और दशमहाविद्या में नवम देवी भगवती राजराजेश्वरी मातंगी का जन्मोत्सव मनाया जाता है
