Heatwave In India: Delhi Government Issues Advisory To Schools; Circular Says Give Water Breaks To Students

On April 12, Delhi government issued guidelines to schools amid heatwave predictions. The circular stated that all schools in Delhi recognised under the directorate of education have to ensure that there is no student assembly in the schools during the afternoon shift. The notice also stated that all the schools will have to ensure availability of drinking water to students. The circular stated that students should be given water breaks during classes.
