US: After London, Khalistanis Attack Indian Consulate In San Francisco, Security Beefed Up
  • last year
On March 22, over 200 protesters waving Khalistani flags arrived at the Indian Consulate in San Francisco. The protesters gathered amid heavy security presence by the San Francisco Police Department (SFDP). Protesters were heavily barricaded across the road. The protesters included turbaned men who were chanting pro-Khalistan slogans. Organisers made anti-India speeches and attacked the Punjab police, reported ANI. In London, the protesters had pulled down the Indian flag from the Indian High Commission building. In retaliation, Indian High Commission employees draped a bigger Indian flag over the walls of India House. Amritpal Singh is still on the run.
