The cause of death has been identified as a mutant parasite worm that brainwashes its hosts into jumping to their deaths into bodies of water. Further study reveals that the worms have a brief incubation period and a 100% fatality rate, resulting in widespread public concern.
The government establishes an Emergency Response Task Force and quarantines all afflicted residents as the number of victims quickly rises. Yet, the infected individuals breach the quarantine zone while mad from the parasite's effects and plunge into the water to their deaths. Jae Hyuk, a salesman for a pharmaceutical business, learns that his family is afflicted and becomes anxious to find a cure. He discovers a terrifying scheme behind the sickness as a result.
