Uplifting WWI hit which was later included in the WWII-era films “Tin Pan Alley” (1940) and “For Me And My Gal” (1942). Billy Murray (lead), Albert Campbell, John H. Meyer, and William F. Hooley comprised the American Quartet at this session.

The original 78rpm single was issued on Victor 18335 - Good-Bye Broadway, Hello France (Reisner-Davis-Baskette) by The American Quartet, conducted by Josef Pasternak, recorded in Camden NJ July 3, 1917.
