It's simply impossible to get enough of pyrography. It's such a satisfying process that it's hard to look away.

In this video, Serbian artist Maja Radosavljevic is seen working on a wood art portrait of a literal saint.

"I'm a pyrography artist and I've been doing it for six years now," Maja told WooGlobe. "This technique means I'm burning the wooden surface with a hot pen. Watch me as I burn an icon of St. John (Jovan). A lot of families in Serbia celebrate him as a patron saint in the Orthodox Church on January 20."

Maja also revealed that she made the icons on the linden wood surface by hand. Furthermore, she coated them with linseed oil to preserve the natural appearance of the wood.
